Mission Statement
To unite and assist the church and the community through health services. Duties of the Health Care Ministry include providing basic first aid at regular church service, revivals, and other programs as needed. Assist with blood drives at Annual health Fair and offer blood pressure screening between regular worship services on the 1st Sundays of each month. The Health Care Ministry does not dispense medications in any capacity. Emergency situations are handled through the use of the emergency medical system.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, for who comforts us in all our troubles with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. – 2Corinthians 1:3-4
To promote the holistic well-being of the congregation and/or the community by serving as a resource on health and well being matters for the congregation.
Some of our ministry projects:
- Conduct non invasive health screenings
- Visit the sick
- Connect church members with health resources
- Teach congregation good health practices
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. – Colossians 3:12
Persons with interest in the medical profession are eligible to join. All persons should complete a first aid course or CPR training. All members must at all times conduct themselves in a professional manner. At all times service provided is to be kept confidential.
