About Trinity Missionary Baptist Church

Thank you for taking the time to find out more about Trinity Missionary Baptist Church and our community. Trinity Missionary Baptist Church was established in Honolulu, HI in 1968. We hope that after you look through our website and attend a worship service, you will consider becoming a more active part of our growing community of faith.

Under the spiritual leadership of Pastor Anthony J. Cook, Trinity Missionary Baptist Church offers many ministries for people of all ages and walks of life who are looking to strengthen their relationship with Christ. We offer ministries in Agape Ministry, Fellowship Ministry, Deployment Ministry/Military Members, Music Ministry, Audio Visual Ministry, and Prison Ministry.

Mission Statement

To Teach, educate and equip our members to understand the word of God and how to apply it to their daily lives. To minister to the spiritual, physical, and economic needs of our church and the surrounding community. To worship in spirit, and in truth through a personal relationship with God, by strengthening our service through a conscious entrance into His presence and by responding favorably and faithfully to the presence of God through praise in prayer. To encourage fellowship through a spiritual relationship, support, and corporation, according to the word of God. To reach and lead the lost to a personal relationship with Christ through witnessing, preaching, teaching the redeeming grace of God.

Upcoming Events

Membership Enhancement Class (5 weeks): Sundays, February 9 – March 9 at 8:30 am during the Sunday hour in the Youth Annex.  Open to members who joined since Sep 2024 and current members who would like a refresher.  Also, if you missed a class in a previous session, please join the week to make-up.  Questions, please contact Deaconess Robyn Sharpe at 808-773-1717.

·                 Black History Trivial Pursuit Games: Sundays, February 9 and February 16.  Calling Youth ages 8yrs to 18yrs to compete in the Black History Trivia Pursuit games.  The games begin immediately after morning services in the Fellowship Hall.  Cash Prizes will be awarded. Game Guidelines attached.  Questions, contact Min. Rose Colquitt at 808-561-8375.

·                 American Baptist Conference (ABC) Regional Meeting: Saturday, February22.  Please plan to attend this annual meeting at our sister church, First Baptist Church of Honolulu, 1313 Pensacola Street from 2pm – 5pm.  The Adult Choir will participate.  Stay tuned for information on donating refreshments for the repass to be served following the meeting.

·                 Praise Dance Rehearsal: This Saturday February 8 at 11:00am in the Choir Room.  The Praise Dancers will participate in the Black History Program on February 23^rd. For more information, contact Sis Edna Thomas at 808-724-6095.

·                 Sunday School: Every Sunday, at 8:30am.  There is a room for all ages to participate in weekly Sunday School.  We encourage families and individuals to attend this enriching environment to learn and discuss God’s Word.  Questions, please contact Deacon Mel Colquitt at 808-783-3402.
